Dr. Hubble is a native Texan, raised in the Hill Country, whose interest in horses started with the 4-H club and competing in local rodeos. She earned an Animal Science degree, Veterinary Science degree, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2000 and joining E.V.A. in June of that year. Her husband, Jason, is a deputy for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department. They have two young children, a daughter and a son who are 14 months apart, that keep them busy outside of work.
Dentistry has become Dr. Hubble’s specialty, including floating of sharp enamel points, equilibration of the bite, extractions, and minor periodontal procedures, and she continues to expand her knowledge and expertise in this area. She also enjoys foaling and breeding season, preventative medicine, ophthalmology, and the occasional challenging internal medicine case.
Her professional memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Equine Veterinary Association, and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. She is dedicated to the long-term success of the equine professional, promoting the horse industry and equine welfare, and continuing education of horse owners. In addition, she welcomes young people who are interested in becoming equine veterinarians to shadow her, either by completing externships through their school or on a volunteer basis.
